The Royal Esplanade Hotel is a beautiful Victorian Grade II Listed building dating back to 1845 which, over the past 8 years, has been lovingly and sympathetically restored. Maintaining it's charm, yet offering warm and comfortable bedrooms with ensuite facilities, each with it's own sense of character.
Our Hotel's friendly and welcoming atmosphere fills our public rooms and bar, and extends to our private outdoor decking area, offering a place to quietly relax.
We can offer a variety of options for you stay, from bed and breakfast to half board or short break package, including return ferry.
Not forgetting our four legged friend, dogs are welcome in all areas except the dining rooms. We have a limited number of bedrooms which can accommodate yourselves and your dog- please call to book these.
I love this hotel - it's my favourite place to stay when I visit Ryde. The staff are friendly, helpful, and always ready with a smile. The food is great, and my rooms have been comfortable. It's situation is perfect for the train, the bus station, the catamaran ferry and the hovercraft.
